June has been a month of robust healthcare initiatives and campaigns at AMRI Hospitals!

Steadfast in its commitment towards offering comprehensive tertiary medical care in Eastern India, AMRI Hospitals is well-known for taking complete charge of the society’s health and well-being through its robust healthcare initiatives and campaigns. Like every month, the hospital came up with a number of initiatives in June.

Observing World No Tobacco Day, AMRI Hospitals, Salt Lake, started off the month by organizing an interactive session in the hospital’s vicinity which saw local residents interacting with the leading expert, Dr Sharadwat Mukherjee, on June 1st, 2019. Spreading awareness about the need to adopt a tobacco free lifestyle, AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur, conducted a health talk at SIS INDIA LIMITED, on the same day. A health check-up camp was set up at SBI, GMU, to make general health-care services accessible to people, along with a health Check-up Camp at Religare Health Insurance.

Extending their medical services to the Silchar Spandon Diagnostic Centre, AMRI Hospitals launched services for a range of muscular, nervous and brain-related illnesses on June 1st, 2019.An awareness programme was organized by AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur at IACS on basic life support, addressing the basic health-care queries and helping people understand how to aid themselves at critical times. The programme was led by the hospital’s leading health-care expert Dr Dipankar Saha.

The hospital held another health check-up camp in favour of public health and well-being, at UCO Bank on June 4th, 2019.AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur organized a Health check-up camp at Reliance Jio, Kamalgazi, to address the health needs of general public, on the same day.

In the wake of World Environment Day, AMRI Hospitals Mukundapur created awareness around environment conservation amongst its employees and community on June 6th, 2019. A health check-up camp in the matter of public awareness was also organized at SBI Bongaon on the same day. Another successful health check-up camp was organized for the community by AMRI Hospitals Mukundapur, at M Junction on 6th June, 2019.

Dr Debabrata Kumar, the leading Orthopaedic consultant at AMRI Hospitals held a session on health-care for the employees of M Junction on June 7th, 2019.Ensuring better care for children, AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur organized a paediatric health check-up along with dental consultation for the children of M Junction employees on June 8th 2019.

In the same month, AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur organized a health check-up camp followed by an informative orthopaedic health talk by leading expert Dr Bishal Bhagat at Urbana. AMRICON’s informative session on Cardiology at ITC Sonar on 8th June 2019 saw the participation of the CEO (Mr. Rupak Barua) of AMRI Hospitals.
In association with the Lions Club, AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur organized a health check-up camp at Burdwan on June 9th, 2019.A Continuing Medical Education (CME) session was also organized by the hospital at IMA Hall Serampore. The hospital proactively organized health check-up camps at three major areas of CRC (52 attendees), Deshapriya park (53 attendees) and Lake Window complex, Jodhpur Gardens (32 attendees).

Following this, AMRI Hospitals’ institute of vascular surgery organized a health check-up camp where patients were screened and made aware about diseases and the best course of treatments available. The camp was organized at Bank of Baroda on June 11th, 2019. Focusing on modern-age healthcare needs, an interactive health-care session was organized by the hospital on June 12th, 2019. In its attempt to help foreign passengers beat the excruciating heat, AMRI Hospitals distributed packaged drinking water along with discount coupons at Karunamoyee Salt Lake, Mukundapur and Marques street area.

Always working in favour of healthcare and awareness, AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur organized another health talk session on parenting by Dr. Jayati Sengupta at TCS on June 13th, 2019. The hospital organized a Health Check-up camp at Nexval Infotech Pvt ltd, as on 14 June, 2019. It was conducted under the supervision of highly trained doctors and paramedics to serve the community.

Collaborating with GB Pant Hospital and IMA, AMRI Hospitals organized a successful CME Program under the supervision of Dr U.K. Saha and Dr SubhadeepChakraborty at Andaman. An event based on Neurosonology was also organized by AMRI Hospitals under the observation of Mr Rupak Barua (CEO, AMRI Hospitals), Dr M.M. Mehndiratta, Dr Komal Kumar and Dr Jayanta Roy on June 17th, 2019.Along with this, the annual Cultural Program of ONGC Retired Employees Association was held at AMRI Hospitals in the same month.

Bringing leading medical experts together, AMRI Hospitals Mukundapur organized a health check-up camp at TCS on June 18th, 2019, where people were screened and made aware about different health care issues.
Having community-care as its major concern, AMRI Hospitals organized another health check-up camp at Reliance Jio, on June 20th, 2019. It also organized a Health check-up camp at LIC-Taratala, on the next day, and extended basic health-care services for the general public.

Observing International Yoga Day, AMRI Hospitals encouraged people to adopt the mindful practice of yoga in their daily lives, and enjoy its therapeutic benefits. It also organized an Orthopaedic Health talk session, which was led by Dr. Debabrata Kumar at LIC on June 21st, 2019.

AMRI Hospitals conducted a health talk session on Ergonomics at the Just Dial office, where employees discussed the potential hazards of working in a a stressful environment. It also organized a dental and skin check-up camp in Calcutta Club to help screen and treat a range of health-related ailments. An awareness program on ergonomics at MSTC was also organized to discuss on the subject matters of healthcare and fitness in the work environment.
