AMRI Hospitals collaborate with Asian Bariatrics, Ahmedabad to launch Bariatric Wing

AMRI Hospital Bhubaneswar, recently joined forces with Asian Bariatrics, Ahmedabad in order to provide the world class Bariatrics and Metabolic surgery facility. The event was graced with the presence of various eminent personalities like Dr Mahendra Narwaria, Dr. Sanjay Patolia, Mr. Rupak Barua, CEO, AMRI Hospitals Ltd, and Dr. Salil Kumar Mohanty, VP, Unit Head, AMRI Hospitals, Bhubaneswar.

The collaborative initiative of AMRI Hospitals & Asian Bariatrics aims at providing a holistic Bariatrics and Metabolic surgery to the patients. AMRI Hospital Group looks forward to confirm to the high standards of protocol and treatment offered at Asian Bariatrics, Ahmedabad.

According to Dr. Sanjay Patolia, Director and Senior Bariatric & GI Surgeon of Asian Bariatrics, “Overweight population in India is on the rise. In the last two decades, obesity in India has shown a rising trend of around 50%.”
