IIT Bhubaneswar organized Medical Camp in Collaboration with AMRI Hospitals

A medical camp was organised by the IIT Bhubaneswar at its campus in collaboration with the AMRI Hospitals here.

Speaking on the occasion, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar, Prof RV Raja Kumar appreciated the initiative by the Medical Unit of IIT Bhubaneswar headed by Dr MA Khan, in collaboration with AMRI Hospitals and also stressed that faculty, officers and staff members including their dependants should take advantage of the health camp as owing to their busy working schedules and paucity of time for personal commitments, they often neglect their heath.

A series of tests including free blood sugar, ECG (on doctor’s advice), pulmonary function test (PFD), eye check up etc were undertaken between 9am-2pm. The faculty members, officers, staff members and their dependants were checked by team of cardiologists, medical specialists, gynaecologists and ophthalmologist from AMRI hospital. The camp witnessed participation from a total of 112 persons.
